(Recruitment of General Duty Medical Officers on a Contractual Basis)
Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for walk-in interviews for the contractual appointment of Specialist Doctors and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) in the Border Security Force (BSF) for 2024. The recruitment is to fill up 04 vacancies in Kashmir Province at the locations mentioned below:

Remuneration:
- Specialist Doctors: ₹85,000/- per month
- GDMOs: ₹75,000/- per month

Age Limit:
- Not more than 67 years.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
A. Specialist Doctors:
i. Essential Qualification:
- A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Candidates with qualifications in Part II of the Third Schedule must fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section (13) of the Act.
ii. Postgraduate Qualification:
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty (as per Section A or B of Schedule-VI or equivalent).
iii. Experience:
- Postgraduate Degree holders: Minimum 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty.
- Diploma holders: Minimum 2 years of experience in the concerned specialty.
B. General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs):
- A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
