Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions under the project titled “In-situ and Ex-situ Conservation of Indigenous Fishes (Snow Trouts) viz-a-viz Fish Production in Kashmir Himalaya for Livelihood Security”. The positions are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project.

Position Details

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

   • No. of Posts: 1
   • Qualification: MFSc
   • Desirable: Candidates with NET/Ph.D. in Fisheries Resource Management, Aquaculture, Fish Genetics and Biotechnology, or Fisheries with experience in endocrinology/breeding.
   • Monthly Emoluments: As per DBT norms.

2. Field Workers

   • No. of Posts: 2
   • Qualification: BFSc/BSc
   • Desirable: MFSc in Fisheries Resource Management, Aquaculture, Fish Genetics and Biotechnology, or Fisheries with experience in endocrinology/breeding.
   • Monthly Emoluments: As per DBT norms.
